ASEAN leaders meet to discuss global crisis
Hua Hin, Thailand, Mar 1: ASEAN leaders gathered in Thailand on Sunday, Mar 1 said that deepening global economic crisis has to be rooted out by taking proactive decisions to restore market conditions and ensure financial stability in the process.
The leaders gathered for the 14th summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and determined to ensure the free flow of goods, services and investment, and facilitate movement of business persons, professionals, talents and labor, and free flow of capital.
Ten ASEAN leaders urged that there needs to be more coordination between developed nad developing nations to restore financial stability.
