Court rejects bail plea of Raju bros, Vadlamani
Hyderabad, Feb 18: The bail petitions of Satyam founder B Ramalinga Raju, his brother, former managing director of the company Rama Raju and ex CFO Srinivas Vadlamani were dismissed in a local court here on Wednesday, Feb 18.
The IT Department has been given permission to record Ramalinga Raju's statement on Feb 21. The sixth Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate dismissed the bail petitions.
The Court also permitted the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to question Satyam Computers former Chief Financial Officer, Vadlamani Srinivas and sacked Price Waterhouse auditors S Gopalakrishnan and Talluri Srinivas on Feb 18 and 19.
Raju and his accomplice were arrested on Jan 7 for fudging company's account. Raju brothers and Srinivas Vadlamani had filed a fresh petitions after their bail petitions were rejected last month.
