Bangalore, Feb 4: Perhaps it seems like there would be no Valentine's day celebration in Karnataka . After Mangalore pub assault, Sri Rama Sena is gearing-up to protest Valentine's day. Sri Rama Sena plans to protest on Feb 14 in Karnataka against the Valentine's day.

In this regard a meeting has been scheduled on Wednesday, Feb 4. Pramod Muthalik, founder of Sri Rama Sena, who is now out on conditional bail in the Mangalore Pub attack case, has said that Sena would disrupt Valentine's day celebrations as it is against Indian culture.

"We are going to protest it. We will send memorandums to Home Minister and Chief Minister (of Karnataka) and we will also alert the police officials for all the hotels and colleges where the day will be celebrated with pomp and show," said Muthalik.

Celebrating Valentine's Day is an international conspiracy, Muthalik claimed and blamed Christians for the celebrations "Valentine's day, Friendship Day... all these are international conspiracies against our culture. They are exploiting the girls by calling it as lover's day. Love cannot be for a single day. This is a conspiracy by the Christians," Muthalik said.

"I am not going to join the political party at all. All thanks to media organisations we are now even getting national recognition,"Muthalik answered a query regarding he joining politics.
