It can be recalled here that Shibu Soren lost a Assembly by-poll. No other political formation has also come forward to stake claim to form an alternative govt.
The delay in choosing a successor to Soren by the Jharkhand unit of Congress has hinted that there may be imposition of president's rule. Shibu has recommended party MLA Champai Soren as his successor. But it was rejected by his allies Congress, RJD and some independent MLAs which provide crucial support to the Soren ministry.
However main opposition BJP has demanded fresh elections.
