Man shot dead after entering CM's security area
Srinagar: A 45-year old man was shot dead by Army personnel as he was moving in the high-security vicinity of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's house, according to official sources.
The victim is identified as Abdul Reshi. A resident of Pahalgam, Reshi was suspiciously moving around at Gupkar area at around 10 pm. Army personnel who were guarding the area reportedly shot him when he tried to escape. He was killed on the spot, sources said.
