Mumbai, Oct 29: A 25-year-old man labourer from Uttar Pradesh was beaten up on board a local train from Khopoli to Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus station by Marathi-speaking youth on Tuesday, Oct 28.
Dharamdev Rai and three other labourers from UP were on their way to Kurla on when they were beaten up on the running train by 8-10 people. Rai's friends have alleged that they were beaten by Marathi-speaking youth, after they learnt that the labourers were North Indians. Rai was admitted to the Dubey hospital in Badlapur but succumbed to his injuries.

shows
he
succumbed
to
liver
injurues
which
confirms
he
was
beaten
up.
Mumbai
police
are
yet
to
register
a
case.
