Deve Gowda pulls the rug again
New Delhi, Jul 22: Deve Gowda again pulled a rug... its a new victim every time. Just 3 days after agreeing to render support to Mayawati and UNPA ie; to vote against the Nuke deal, he has successfully shocked the political circles again.
If reports are to be believed, Deve Gowda has sought an appointment with Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday, July 22 hours before the trust vote. Just a day after he said he would not support the United Progressive Alliance during the trust vote, he said on Monday, July 21 that "anything can happen tomorrow." He said his party MP from Kerala, M P Veerendra Kumar, had decided that he would vote against the UPA.
He said he has not endorsed Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati as the next prime minister. He said his prime focus at the moment was the trust vote and a decision on the future course of action would be taken after that.
