London, Jul 8: Fiona MacKeown, the mother of Scarlett Keeling who was allegedly raped and murdered on a Goa beach in February, reportedly approached British Foreign Office Minister Lord Malloch Brown requesting him to ask for her daughter's organs - uterus, stomach and kidneys - from India.

The organs are being held by Goan authorities as the rape-cum-murder case is still under investigation. After meeting the minister, Fiona said he assured her that he would speak to Indian authorities and ask them to send Scarlett's organs. "He will be speaking to people over there to get them back to me. He was very supportive and said he'd do what he could," The Telegraph quoted her as saying.

She also discussed with Lord Malloch Brown the possibility of announcing a strict travel advice to Britons against visiting Goa, as, she added, it would adversely affect tourism in Goa which would lead them to cooperate in the murder case. "Tourism is their main trade in Goa, so, if we were to speak out, they'd have to listen. It would dent their economy if they don't. Once they issue a warning seriously, it affects insurance and we do pose a real threat. How seriously they will issue the warnings, I don't know," she said.

Fiona further said that she may have to return to Goa in early August, but said her lawyer was concerned that she might be arrested there. "I'll speak to the CBI in Goa. I've got a lot of information to give them. I want my daughter's organs back and hope to push the investigation onwards."
