Hogenakkal: Yedi to wait till vote of confidence
Bangalore, May 30: The BJP government in Karnataka will discuss the controversial Hogenakkal drinking water Project of Tamil Nadu, after winning the vote of confidence, Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa said today.
Speaking after the first Cabinet meeting after assuming office, he said it was decided not to take any important decisions until the government won the vote of confidence, which would be sought during the three-day special session to be convened from June 4. The matter would be referred to newly appointed Advocate-General Uday Holla and his opinion would be sought before arriving at any conclusion on the issue, Mr Yeddyurappa said.
