Jet
Airways
is
all
set
to
break
the
monopoly
of
the
national
carrier
Air
India
into
the
Gulf
skies,
with
its
maiden
direct
flights
to
Kuwait
and
Bahrain
from
tomorrow.
While the airline will fly to Bahrain from Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA), the Kuwait flight will take off from New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport. The Mumbai-Bahrain flight 9W 592 will depart from CSIA at 0605 hrs and on the return leg, flight 9W 591 (Bahrain-Mumbai) will depart from Bahrain Airport at 2130 hrs, all as per the local time.
On the other hand, Delhi-Kuwait flight 9W 572 will depart from Delhi at 0900 hrs and the return flight, 9W 571 (Kuwait-Delhi) will take off from Kuwait at 2350 hrs, all as per the local time.
In addition, the private carrier is also launching two daily direct flights between Kochi-Kuwait-Kochi and Kochi-Bahrain-Kochi sectors from tomorrow.
