Police solved robbery case within 24 hours

Bangalore, Dec 20 (UNI) City police have succeeded in solving robbery of Rs 23 lakhs within 24 hours it occurred at Acts Ministeries Christian Trust premises in the city, and nabbed four culprits in this connection.

According to a release, the culprits after gaining entry into the premises have managed to take away the booty of Rs 23 lakhs which was kept to disburse salary for the employees. The Christian Trust had lodged a complaint with the police in this connection yesterday.

The City Crime Branch sleuths who investigated into the incident have arrested the arrested Manjunath, Ravi, Prasanna and Raju and also recovered the stolen cash of Rs 22 lakhs from their possession.

Manjunath and Ravi, who were employees in the same Trust, worked out the conspiracy to loot the money kept for the payment of the employees of the trust, the sources added.
