Bhopal, Dec 5: A handwritten copy of the Guru Granth Sahib with gold lettering and the last Guru Gobind Singh's weapons will be the cynosure of devotees' eyes during a 'Guru Granth Trishatabdi Yatra' -- marking the holy book's tercentenary -- that touches the Madhya Pradesh capital tomorrow.

''The yatra began from Maharashtra's Nanded on November 15. The visitors will be housed in Gurdwara Nanaksar. Kirtan, preaching and langar are scheduled for December 7. The yatra will leave for Sagar the following day,'' Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Chairman Dileep Singh Pradhan told reporters here yesterday.

The yatra will reach Nanded eight months later after traversing Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Punjab, Delhi, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
