AITUC, CITU protest against price rise, labour laws' violation
New Delhi, Dec 5: The All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) and the Hind Mazdoor Sabha today took out a protest rally against price rise and violation of labour laws.
The protestors led by Gurudas Dasgupta, Member of Parliament and General Secretary of All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) expressed their anger over the policies of the government.
Dasgupta said that they took out the rally against the economic policy of the government, price rise, unemployment, violation of labour laws.
“Against the way in which the government is violating the promises made to the people…It is a warning to the government that the workers are in the streets violating laws and going to jail," he added.
The protesters raised slogans against government policies like outsourcing and privatisation of PSUs, inflation and violation of labour laws.
