Mush lauds Aziz for economic reforms in Pak

Islamabad, Nov 16: Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf lauded former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz's contribution in bringing fast track socio-economic development in the country through far reaching economic reforms.

In the farewell meeting held yesterday at Aiwan-e-Sadr, Gen Musharraf said Mr Aziz's efforts yielded enormous socio-economic benefits and improved the quality of life of the people of Pakistan, Associated Press of Pakistan reported.

The President underlined that excellent working relations between their offices were unparalleled and smooth that helped in formulation and implementation of policies in an effective manner.

Mr Aziz thanked Gen Musharraf for his consistent support and guidance to the government for the socio-economic upliftment of the people and strengthening of the democratic institutions.
