Agricultural scientist selected for ISCA award

Laboratory
Department
of
studies
in
applied
Botany
and
Biotechnology
University
of
Mysore
has
been
selected
for
the
prestigious
''ISCA-National
Young
Scientist
Award
2007-2008''
for
his
research
work
in
Agricultural
Biotechnology.
According to an official release here today, Mr Manjunath had worked for All India Co-ordinated pearl millet improvement project sponsored by Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi.
The award carries a certificate of merit and cash award of Rs 25,000 which would be presented by the President of India on January 5 during the 95th sesson of ISCA to be held at Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.
