HKHS demanding separate Statehood

would
launch
a
agitation
in
the
North
Karnataka
Region
demanding
a
''Seperate
Statehood''
which
would
be
called
as
Hyderbad-Karnataka
Region.
Disclosing this at a press conference here today H K H S founder Vijanath Patil, MLA, said the HKHS would organise protest day and black day programmes on November One, the formation day of Karnataka.
No political party or leaders has shown any interest to develop this backward HK region, evenafter the formation of the state four decades ago, he lamented.
Mr Vijnath Patil informed that the HKHS hereafter demanding for the bifurcation of the state to ensure the development of the backward region.
As a senior political leader and MLA of this district he said that they were planning to launch a political party, on the lines of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi in Andhra Pradesh, in the region to fight for the ''Seperate Statehood'' status to the North Karnataka region.
