KEC bags Rs 317 cr order in Afghanistan
New Delhi, Sept 19: KEC International today said it has bagged an Asian Development Bank (ADB) funded contract worth Rs 317 crores from Afghanistan's Ministry of Energy and Water through an international competitive bidding.
The project involves construction of transmission lines, power distribution systems and building sub-stations, said a statement.
Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) is the consultant to the project, which will be completed in 18 months.
With this project, KEC has total contract value of over Rs 500 crore, under execution in Afghanistan.
