Salman's sisters Alvira and Arpita reached the Jodhpur Central Jail today. His parents had reached Jodhpur yesterday.
Prisoners in custody are allowed to meet their relatives once in 15 days only. On Sunday, Salman met his sisters and brothers and girlfriend Katrina Kaif.
As per the jail rules, Salman's parents would not have been able to meet him but for the jailor who agreed to let his sisters meet him on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Sisters Alvira and Arpita tied Rakhi on Salman's wrist.
Salman was sentenced to five years imprisonment and a penalty of Rs 25,000 for poaching a chinkara, an endangered species of antelope, in Ghoda Farm under Mathania police station on Sept 28-29, 1998, while he was camping here for the shooting of the film 'Hum Saath Saath Hain'.
Meanwhile, the hearing on the revision petition will take place in the High Court tomorrow. Salman could be released only if the High Court admitted his bail appeal.
Salman's other appeal against one year imprisonment for poaching two black bucks in Bhavad village on September 26-27,1998, was pending in court and will come up for hearing on September 10.
