Raj HC issues fresh notice to Vasundhara

Jaipur, July 19: The Rajasthan High Court today issued a fresh notice to state Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje in a public Interest Litigation petition about alleged irregularity in allotment of land to Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya Trust by the Jaipur Development Authority.

A Division Bench of Justices RM Lodha and Mohammad Rafiq issued notice to the Chief Minister, who also holds the post of chairperson in the trust, for a third time when petitioner Sushil Kumar Sharma complained during the hearing today, about the previous notices not reaching Ms Raje.

The petition was filed by Mr Sharma challeging the allotment of land to the trust on certain grounds.

However, after raking up of the controversy over the issue the trust had informed the Jaipur Development Authority that it was not interested in availing of the land allotment.
