Monica case hearing postponed till July 10
Bhopal, June 30: A local court today fixed July 2 for hearing the matter related to a fake passports case, involving underworld don Abu Salem and his actress-girlfriend Monica Bedi.
Defence Counsel P C Bedi today submitted an application before Chief Judicial Magistrate Ajay Srivastava's court to postpone the hearing in the case till July 10, to hear the matter in the Supreme Court.
Monica was present in the court amid tight security.
On November 28, 2001, a case was registered at the Koh-i-Fiza Police Station against Salem, Samira and Monica for having fake passports made at the regional passport office using the names Danish Baig, Rubina Baig and Fauzia Osman respectively.
