Tantia Constructions bags Rs 183 cr orders

New Delhi, June 28: Kolkata-based Tantia Constructions today said it has secured orders worth Rs 183.46 crore from the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and Kolkata Environment Improvement Project (KEIP).

The company has bagged a Rs 12 crore project from AAI for constructing a new terminal building and allied works at Cooch Behar Airport, to be completed in 12 months time, a statement said.

Besides, it received three other construction projects for Rs 171 crore from KEIP for executing the comprehensive sewerage package and drainage system for the 'Added Areas' within Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) covering Borough XI to Borough XV and Borough VII.

Tantia has joint ventures with international construction firms like TSO (France), Road Builders Sdn Berhad Malaysia (RBM), and KLRT Consulting Engineering Services of Malaysia.
