Jet Airways , Qantas expand codeshare pact
New Delhi, June 25: Jet Airways and Qantas today announced expansion of their codeshare agreement.
With this codeshare partnership, Jet and Qantas will be able to offer seamless travel to their customers from points in India to Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide via Singapore and vice versa, said Jet's chief executive officer Wolfgang Prock-Schauer.
Jet operates daily flights from Singapore to Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai.
Qantas group general manager for sales and distribution Rob Gurney said the expansion of codeshare will enable Jet's customers to travel on Qantas flights between Australia and Singapore, connecting to Jet services between Singapore and India from today. ''This new agreement complements Qantas' existing A330-300 services which operate three times weekly between Sydney and Mumbai,'' he said.
