Rolta India raises $150 million via FCCBs

New Delhi, June 22: Rolta India today said it has raise about 150 million dollar through the issue of Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs) in international markets.

The company will issue 1,500 FCCBs of 1,00,000 dollar each aggregating to 150 million dollar, a statement said.

''This will further strengthen our international operations and facilitate faster growth of Rolta,'' company's Chairman and Managing Director Kamal K Singh said, The conversion price for the FCCBs is Rs 737.40 per share.

The company has entered into subscription agreement with Europe-based, arrangers and bookrunners, Lehman Brothers International.

The group's principal activities are to manufacture and market computer workstations, network services, other hardware and software products.

It is also engaged in software designing and development, date conversion services and Internet, e-business and technical services.
