Rahul recuperating, 4 questioned in toxin case
New Delhi, Jun 4: Even as the condition of late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan's son Rahul further improved today, police were questioning four people in an apparent case of 'drug overdose', which killed Mahajan's secretary Bibek Moitra and made him greviously sick.
While Rahul has started 'semi-solid diet' and is recuperating at the Apollo hospital, the police were questioning his friend circle and also ''link of the youth'', who were with Rahul and Bibek, partying at Pramod Mahajan's official residence in central Delhi on the night of June 1.
The police is said to have also detained some 'foreign nationals', who had allegedly supplied drugs to the youth.
The fourth person at the party Sahil Zaroo, would be brought to Delhi from Srinagar today.
The police would also question Mahajan's former secretary Haresh Sharma, who was also said to be present in the house that night.
A bottle of champagne and a packet of ' white powder', alleged to be some narcotic substance, was recovered by the police from Mahajan's house.
