Revive dialogue on Ayodhya: Rajnath Singh

Dharmshala, HP, Apr 29 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Rajnath Singh today urged the UPA Government let by Dr Manmohan Singh to revive dialogue on Ayodhya issue and the Ayodhya Cell in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) for a speedy solution to the national issue.

Talking to newspersons here at Dharmshala during the course of third pahase of his Bharat Suraksha Yatra, Mr Singh said,''we should not run away from this very important issue of Ayodhya by delaying it.'' The BJP president said if his party comes back to power with full majority then they will definitely build the Ram Temple to honour and fulfill the national aspiration of the majority community in the country.

Later addressing a massive public rally of Mohanpur in Pathankot in Punjab he said it is a fact that the Congress, which ruled the country for fourty-two years at streach brought only poverty for its people while Japan with a more population of just five crores become a global economic power.

Mr Singh said the NDA, during its six years of rule in the country had made massive infrastructure development and some its visible elements are the roads and development in telecommunications. He said this has encouraged the flow of foreign funds to India and created huge job opportunities in the country.

He charged the present UPA government of neglecting agriculture and as a result thousands of farmers are commiting suicides in the various parts of the country. He lamented that when he was the Agricultural Minister during the NDA regime he formulated one ''Kissan Jivan Surksha Bima'' with the object of helping them to recover thier investments in the event of either drouhgt, floods and any other natural calamities but this Government has just kept that in ''Cold Storage''.

Mr Singh said NDA which was bent upon to curb militancy and naxalism in the country introduced POTA but the present UPA Government under pressure from Pakistan, has not only abolished that law but is now planning to withdrow our forces from the highly sensitive Siachen Glacier, overlooking the strong objections raised by the Armed Forces.

The BJP president was of the view that for curbing militancy as well as the Maoists and Naxalites movements in the country, the Centre should immediately call a meeting of the all the Chief Ministers of the concerned state and chalk out a joint strategy and it should be financed by the Centre.

Mr Singh called upon the people to vote for the BJP and its allies to overthrow the currupt misrule of Congress Governments from the state as well as at the Centre.
