Left parties to hold protest rallies against Bush visit

Hyderabad, Mar 1: Communist Party of India (CPI) and CPI(M) would be organising protest demonstrations against the US President George W Bush visit to the city on March three, its leaders said today.

Releasing the posters, ''Bush go back'', against his visit to India, CPI(M) State Secretary and national politbureau member BV Raghavulu said the Left parties would organise protest demonstrations in all towns and district headquarters tomorrow.

He said the left parties would organise a protest rally from Sundarayya park to Indira park to protest against the US President visit to the city.

Alleging that America was more interested in involving in internal matters which would be a threat to the sovereignty and economical interests of the country, Mr Raghavulu said Mr Bush wanted to be a super power by imposing economic and political sanctions against developing countries.

Stating that every political party has right to express their protest against Mr Bush visit, CPI State Secretary K Narayana alleged that US has conspired to exploit the resources and technology that the country adopted during Mr Bush visit to India.
