Sorry mate, this is Summer Olympics
Sydney: Staff at the athletes' village at the Sydney Games are wondering whether a resident mixed up his Olympics after a pair of ski goggles werehanded in at the lost property office.
The goggles, A$1,500 (605 pounds) worth of tickets for Olympic wrestling events and an Australian doona (duvet) from one of the village bedrooms are among the more unusual items to have been found lying around since the village opened on September 2.
"Someone also come in and ask if we'd had an Indonesian flag on a two-metre pole handed in, but we weren't able to help," a volunteer at the officesaid on Wednesday. The Games open on Friday.
