A day after Narendra Modi's visit, terrorists attack Jammu Kashmir

Srinagar, Dec 2: Terrorists attacked a police chawki near Budgam in Jammu Kashmir on Monday, Dec 2. The Station House Officer (SHO) of Chadoora Chawk has been killed.

The decease has been identified as Shabbir Ahmed. Two other police officials also have been injured when the militants opened firing. The incident happened just a day after Narendra Modi's visit in the state.

Militants opened indiscriminate fire on the police party. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where the SHO succumbed to his wounds.

The other two injured policemen have been identified as Constable Mohammad Shafi and SPO Firdous Ahmad. No militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.

Recently, director general of police (DGP) Ashok Prasad has said, "Militants have changed their tactics in Kashmir. Militant attacks on common people have come down. But they are targetting police and security forces in a planned manner."
