WWE: Triple H to compete at Wrestlemania despite Seth Rollins’ injury

Triple H all set to face Seth Rollin at Wrestlemania 33.

Bengaluru, Feb 4: As reported earlier, Seth Rollins injured his knee on Raw after the scripted attack of Samoa Joe went terribly wrong.

He was the one who was Triple H's scheduled opponent at Wrestlemania. Now that the injury turned out to be legit, the match's future is in serious jeopardy and so does Triple H's in-ring appearance at Mania.

Going by the recent reports, Rollins was examined by WWE doctors after the MRI was done. He further flew to Birmingham, Alabama for a further check-up of his knees.

The doctors came to the conclusion that he tore the MCL which was already fractured from 2015. He will have to be sidelined for eight weeks from in-ring capacity.

It means that he might get cleared to get back into action just during the beginning of the Wrestlemania week.

However, it is unlikely that just after getting cleared, he will go straight to into the biggest stage of them all against the cerebral assassin of WWE without any sort of warm up matches.

Rollins' injury ruined WWE Creative's plans for this mega match between Rollins and Triple H at Wrestlemania.

Furthermore, Triple H usually brings on his Game mode for this season so that he can wrestle at the showcase of immortals.

He is really upset with this injury which might have pushed his match with Rollins for the second straight year.

But, according to the reports of cagesideseats.com, he is pushing the creative to arrange a secondary match for him so that his wrestling appearance does not get canceled.

He keeps himself fit enough for this one time of the year where he laces up his boots in a show where legends like him were born and dominated over the last two decades. It is understandable that he will not like to miss out on this occasion, as well.

There's no indication of who is going to be Rollins' replacement for the show. The rumor mill though hints that Finn Balor might turn out to be the one at the very last moment.
