Bengaluru, Sep 6: After plenty of rumors that are roaming around the internet, regarding the status of Alberto Del Rio and Paige's situation, things completely took a new turn after a new addition to it.

In a recent episode of the MSL & Sullivan show, hosted by former WCW promotion member Kevin Sullivan and former Ring of Honor commentator Mister Saint Lauren, they revealed some shocking facts about WWE and the couple.

According to them, the WWE officials threatened Paige to fire her from WWE since they did not like her relationship with Alberto Del Rio. The rumor mill has already suggested this and this confirmation is just following the same.

Apparently, this was the reason they both got drafted to different brands whereas the couples inside the WWE was drafted to the same brand like Jimmy Uso-Naomi, John Cena-Nikki Bella, and Dean Ambrose-Renee Young.

WWE officials think that Paige and Del Rio is an uneven match since Paige is almost 14 years younger than Del Rio.

Here's what Kevin and Lauren commented on the show, “Mark Carrano, who fans might know from Total Divas, kind of like the office liaison guy, approached Del Rio and Paige individually and harassed each of them about their relationship. It was indicated that the office wanted them to sever their romantic relationship."

Then Saint Laurent directly accused WWE of threatening Paige if she does not quit dating Alberto Del Rio. Here's what he had to offer,

“A lot of people speculated if this was the reason WWE split them up in the draft and that's definitely what happened. The company did not want them together. They split them up in the draft by design and they threatened to fire Paige if she didn't break up with Del Rio."

Paige has been on the receiving end of the backstage heat for various reasons since the beginning of her career.

Since WWE officials know the trouble-maker a lot, this may have been a precaution from their side. However, the rift between Del Rio and WWE is supposed to end once his suspension gets over and he quits the company.

Paige is supposed to continue with WWE as a prime competitor in the Women's division.
