Toronto, Nov 20: Unlike the other Survivor Series PPVs of this decade, this year is the match card is fully stacked with some special matches.
The 30th annual dual brand PPV will be held at the Air Canada Center in Toronto, Canada. The event is headlined by the Goldberg Vs Brock Lesnar match. It will also determine who the better brand is between Raw and Smackdown.
The live telecast will take place on Ten 1 Network from tomorrow 3.30 AM onwards. Here’s what we can expect from the night.
Apart from the brand Vs brand matches and the main event, we will see two cross-brand matches taking place.
The first will be contested between The Miz and Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental title. It is quite safe to say that the Miz will retain his title since he just won it a few days ago on Smackdown. This title around his shoulder will allow him to continue his feud with Daniel Bryan.
In the other cross-brand match, Kalisto is likely to win the Cruiserweight title from Bryan Kendrick. The division has seen a zero booking on Raw and its addition on Smackdown might give the cruiserweights the spark they need.
The 205 Live on WWE Network has also been announced just after Smackdown Live, perhaps for the same reason.
As for the Raw vs. Smackdown matches, the overall score is likely going to be 2-1 in favor of the blue brand.
In the tag team division match, team Raw is going to pick up the win easily since their side has some strong names like the New Day, Enzo-Cass & Gallows-Anderson.
In the Women’s division, team Raw is way ahead on paper with Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Bayley & Nia Jax on their side but the animosity will come to play at some point. Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella are going to the savior for team Smackdown.
In the final Men’s match up, we are going to see some twist like Triple H interfering to eliminate Seth Rollins.
Or, it may be the Undertaker showing up to make the save for his team, as said by him this week. So, despite the presence of Reigns-Rollins together and Braun Strowman’s destruction, team Smackdown is going to reigns Supreme.
In the main event, we predict Goldberg pinning Lesnar and make the score 2-0. Shane McMahon is going to interfere at some point to get the payback on Lesnar from Summerslam.
This will further start his feud with Lesnar to cause a match at the Royal Rumble PPV. Goldberg will get a proper send-off that he deserves and close the show with celebrations with his family and friends.
