Ohio, Sep 28: WWE Smackdown Live took place this week at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. This week's show was headlined by the WWE World championship match. We were all eager to know who heads to the No Mercy PPV as the champion.
Both Ambrose and the champion, AJ Styles were all fired up for the night's main event. In addition, we have got John Cena on the commentary table to get a close look at his opponents.
The match was back and forth as both the two competitors took themselves to their limit. We witnessed several near pinfalls.
By pulling the tights of Ambrose, he retained his title on Smackdown Live. After the match, Cena hit Attitude Adjustment to both his opponents to make a strong statement.
Nikki was in the driver's seat by putting down Natalya. But after a blind tag, Carmella picked up the win via a roll up from behind.
The Women's champion, Becky Lynch suffered a vicious blind-sided attack from her challenger, Alexa Bliss. During her entrance, Alexa came running down from behind to deliver the assault.
This time, the added stipulation will be that if Ziggler loses he will call it a quit in the WWE. So, Ziggler's career will be on the line at No Mercy PPV.
In the tag team division, The Usos continued with their momentum by picking up a submission victory over the champions, Slater and Rhyno.
