Connecticut, March 22: After what went down last week between AJ Styles and Shane McMahon, we were eager to know how things go down, this week.

We also expected to see the WWE champion, Bray Wyatt to show up on the show to make a major statement against his opponent.

Check out what went down on Smackdown hosted by The Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville Connecticut.

The show opened up with a backstage confrontation between Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles. Styles said that he might attack Shane McMahon again once he shows up in the building.

He then headed to the ring to let the world know McMahon showed stupidity by challenging him to a match at Wrestlemania. He left the ring after cutting a heel promo.

A new Smackdown tag team champions were crowned on the night as the Usos took the title away from the American Alpha.

Chad Gable was sent into the crowd and out of action during the end. Jey Uso connected with a superkick to pick up the win via pinfall.

Randy Orton had a match against Baron Corbin. In between the match, Dean Ambrose appeared ringside standing on a forklift to provide the distraction.

Orton hit Corbin with an RKO to pick up the win. Ambrose came down to the ring to accept a match against Corbin at Wrestlemania. He hit the Dirty Deeds on his opponent.

Backstage, Bray Wyatt delivered a vicious assault on Orton with help from some anonymous sheep-mask wearing people.

John Cena had a match with Fandango with Nikki Bella by his side. It was a quick match up as Cena picked up the win via submission with STF. He celebrated the win with Nikki inside the ring.



The Miz and Maryse mocked Cena and Nikki with some of the unseen footages from Total Bellas.





Becky Lynch was scheduled for a match against Carmella which got disqualified due to Natalya's interference.

All the participants of the championship match came down to the ring creating a chaos. Alexa Bliss stood tall after the brawl ended.

Shane McMahon came out to the ring, out of nowhere and called out AJ Styles to the ring. These two fight the hell out of each other.

McMahon got the upper hand with his quick jabs. He delivered a leap of faith off the top rope putting Styles through the table to stun the people. The show came to a close with McMahon pointing to the Wrestlemania sign.
