Minnesota, Mar 1: After the battle royal ended in the midst of controversy, last week, all eyes were on the number one contender's match between Luke Harper and AJ Styles.

Plus, an interesting Miz TV was hosted with the special guest John Cena on the show. Here are the results from this week's Smackdown which was hosted by the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

The Miz kicked off the show and called out straight his guest, John Cena on the show. He continued blasting the Cenation leader with verbal assaults.

Maryse even slapped him on the face. To even the odds, Nikki Bella ran into the ring making her back down. Nikki and Cena closed the segment by embracing each other first time on live television.

The heated rivalry between Mickie James and Becky Lynch was renewed with a classic 2 out of 3 Falls match.

Mickie picked up the first pin by virtue of a DDT. Becky leveled the score with a quick roll up. She then locked in the dis-arm-her to make Mickie James tap out and pick up the win.

As announced last week, the number one contender's match between Luke Harper and AJ Styles was contested in which Styles picked up the pinfall.

But, Harper put his feet on the ropes and Shane McMahon restarted the match. Styles connected with a 450 splash to get the second pinfall and emerge as the number one contender.

Dean Ambrose scheduled for a match against Curt Hawkins but connected with a Dirty Deeds prior to the match. Aftermath, Baron Corbin appeared on the tron to have a verbal encounter with Ambrose.

Dolph Ziggler had a Chairs match against Apollo Crews. The show-off won the contest after smashing a chair on Crews' mid-section.

Randy Orton finally turned his back on Bray Wyatt during the finishing segment where he entered the Wyatt compound and burnt the place where Sister Abigail was laid.

The Viper then vowed to take the title back from Wyatt at Wrestlemania. With Styles being the number one contender, Smackdown ended with WWE championship's status in jeopardy.
