Glasgow, Nov 9: WWE Smackdown Live was hosted by the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. It was for the very first time that Smackdown was hosted there as the show kicked-off with the leader of team Smackdown, AJ Styles.

The WWE World heavyweight champion was not in a good mood after he was cheated last week by Ambrose, as per his opinion.

He blamed Ellsworth for this. However, he has to co-exist with Ambrose in the same team at Survivor Series and called up all the team members to the ring.

To the much delight of the crowd, James Ellsworth was also brought to the ring by Dean Ambrose. Shane McMahon showed up to announce that Ellsworth is named the team Mascot of Smackdown.

He further announced a huge six man tag team match for the main event of the night. Orton & the Wyatt Family would take on Ambrose, Corbin, and Ellsworth.

But, Corbin was replaced by Kane, afterward. The match saw a decent contest until a brawl broke out between Kane and Luke Harper, outside the ring. James Ellsworth made a hot tag but ended up getting a Sister Abigail to digest the pinfall.

After the match, Daniel Bryan announced that Shane McMahon will be replacing Baron Corbin at the Survivor Series PPV.

Corbin got injured at the hands of returning Kalisto who sought his revenge on the Lone Wolf. He sent Corbin's leg into the steel steps to cause the injury.

The Smackdown Women's title match ended amidst of controversy. Becky Lynch locked in the armbar on her opponent and she did tap out.

But, at the same time, Alexa's foot was on the rope which the referee did not notice. Becky will have to defend the title against Alexa in near future, again.

A match between Naomi and Natalya took place with Nikki Bella on the commentary. Carmella came to attack Nikki but got shoved off with a forearm.

The distraction allowed Naomi to pick up the win via a roll-up. Breezango became victorious against the vaudevillians to join the Smackdown tag team for the Survivor Series PPV.
