WWE Rumour: The Rock might return at Survivor Series PPV

According to a report from PWInsider.com, the Rock can show up in the event as a surprise element.

Bengaluru, Nov 19: It looks like that this week is going to be star-studded one since it is marking the Survivor Series week.

We have already got the much-anticipated face-off between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar to kick-start the week. The match itself will go down on Sunday.

Then we have sees the return of the Rater R Superstar, Edge on Smackdown Live. That's not all because the Undertaker also accompanied him on the same night to celebrate the 900th episode of Smackdown Live.

Now, in addition, we might get the Rock at the Survivor Series PPV, itself. The rumours suggest that Rock will be appearing on the 30th edition of the PPV in Toronto, Canada.

According to a report from PWInsider.com, the Rock can show up in the event as a surprise element. They claimed,

“The Rock can come back to WWE whenever he wants to."

Since the PPV is going to be four-hour long show and there are less number of matches on the card, The Rock can have an entire segment reserved for him.

Of course, his appearance is going to be in a non-wrestling capacity, much like the one from Wrestlemania 32.

It is also a must mention that this year will mark the 20th anniversary of Rock's career in WWE. In fact, he debuted at the Survivor Series event in the year 1996.

So, it'll not be a surprise if WWE arranges something special in order to celebrate this moment. It will be much like the one that WWE has arranged for the Undertaker to celebrate his 25th year in the WWE.

The last time The Rock has appeared at Survivor Series was in the year 2011 where he teamed up with John Cena to face the team of The Miz and R-Truth.

Considering that WWE is bringing big names to hype the 30th anniversary of Survivor Series in style, the Rock's appearance cannot be wiped out.
