Bengaluru, Nov 17: Survivor Series is amongst the big four PPVs in the WWE PPV calendar. But, it has not seen any such big events in recent memory except 2014 when Sting made his WWE debut.

This year is going to be some exception since WWE is already planning something big for the PPV which will see its 30th anniversary.

The event will take place at the Air Canada center in Toronto, Canada on November 20th. The main event is already set as we will see the returning Goldberg taking on the beast incarnate Brock Lesnar.

Plus, this year WWE will be hyping up the PPV with a brand Vs brand rivalry as we will see three traditional Survivor Series matches between Raw and Smackdown. Hence, we will not see the big titles getting defended on that night.

However, Smackdown might not get another name in their corner during the PPV. Randy Orton is not scheduled to compete at the last big PPV of the year.

With Randy not by their side, Smackdown will face a big challenge while facing Raw.

As per the recent rumours, Randy Orton will be off WWE TV for a couple of weeks during that time. His wife Kimberly is pregnant and expecting on November 22nd i.e. just two days later to the big night.

Hence, the Viper has to take some time off to stay with his partner. Randy is not advertised to return until November 29th.

It is expected that an angle will be shown in near future to keep him aside from television. Randy has already joined the Wyatt family as said by him on Smackdown and Wyatt might just abduct him to set up the storyline purpose.

We have to wait and see how Smackdown deals with the absence of two top stars like John Cena & Randy Orton while moving forward to the Survivor Series PPV.
