Bengaluru, Feb 6: There will be one final PPV from the flagship show that is Monday Night Raw prior to Wrestlemania.
It is scheduled to take place at the BMO Bradley Harris Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on March 5. Unlike the previous two years, this year’s Fastlane is supposed to get a stacked card with a blockbuster main event.
The venue of the arena has already confirmed Goldberg’s presence in the main event of the night. He is supposed to face the current Universal champion, Kevin Owens for his title.
As reported by No-DQ.com, This is going to be the supposed match card for the Raw-exclusive PPV.
Kevin Owens Vs Goldberg (WWE Universal championship)
Chris Jericho Vs Sami Zayn (United States championship)
Sasha Banks Vs Nia Jax
Roman Reigns Vs Braun Strowman (Some sort of stipulation involved)
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson Vs Sheamus and Cesaro (Raw tag team championship)
Seth Rollins Vs Samoa Joe
This match was originally scheduled after Samoa Joe attacked Rollins on Raw, last week. However, we are still not sure whether Rollins is fit enough to compete or not.
His injury would be addressed tonight on Raw. If his injury is severe then we should get a replacement for him who will face Joe at Fastlane.
The most interesting part of this event is surely going to be the proceedings of the Universal championship.
Owens has still not got his next opponent against whom he will defend the title at the next PPV. So, Goldberg’s name is the most likely one on this slot.
Although, there’s no mention of his name in the Universal championship, yet but it is likely that the scenario would be clear after he returns on Raw, this week.
This will be his first appearance after he failed to win the Royal Rumble to achieve one more title run in the company.
However, Vince McMahon is much impressed by Goldberg’s run in the WWE, so far. Hence, the planning is to give him one after Fastlane so that the match between him and Lesnar turns out to be a championship match at Wrestlemania.
