WWE Rumour: Planning for Randy Orton at Wrestlemania

Bray Wyatt Vs Randy Orton for the WWE championship will happen at Wrestlemania as per the original planning.

Bengaluru, Feb 20: Randy Orton was the one to win this year's Royal Rumble match on January 29th.

With this win, he punched his ticket to the Wrestlemania main event. He is supposed to face the WWE champion, Bray Wyatt at the grandest stage of them all.

But, quite surprisingly while Smackdown ended this week, Orton bowed down to 'his master', Wyatt and refused to face him for the title match. This has fuelled the speculation whether the feud between these two has been scrapped or not.

Ever since Orton joined the Wyatt family after the No Mercy PPV, this rivalry was an evident one. Going by the recent reports, WWE creative still has this one match arranged for the Wrestlemania card.

As reported by cagesideseats.com, Wyatt Vs Orton for the WWE championship will happen as per the original planning.

Orton refusing to compete in the title match was just a twist in the tale which otherwise would have been so much predictable scenario on Smackdown.

To take it forward to the next level, Orton is rumoured to make appearances on Raw, as well to indicate that he might go after the Universal Championship. Daniel Bryan has already announced a number one contender's battle royal will take place.

Luke Harper is supposedly winning this one to get a one-off championship match in the near future. Once this match is done, the Viper will strike the Eater of the World, out of nowhere to finally set up the match.

Meanwhile, AJ Styles wanted to face Randy Orton, next as stated by him in an interview with Express Sports:

"There are many whom I am yet to compete with, there are some Raw guys but one person I would like to lay my hands on is Randy Orton."

This one is not an ideal scenario on the blue brand, right now. If the creative is listening to it then they have to come up with a brand new opponent for Wyatt at Mania which might not be possible, at the very last moment.
