Bengaluru, Feb 20: Randy Orton was the one to win this year's Royal Rumble match on January 29th.
With this win, he punched his ticket to the Wrestlemania main event. He is supposed to face the WWE champion, Bray Wyatt at the grandest stage of them all.
But, quite surprisingly while Smackdown ended this week, Orton bowed down to 'his master', Wyatt and refused to face him for the title match. This has fuelled the speculation whether the feud between these two has been scrapped or not.
Ever since Orton joined the Wyatt family after the No Mercy PPV, this rivalry was an evident one. Going by the recent reports, WWE creative still has this one match arranged for the Wrestlemania card.
Orton refusing to compete in the title match was just a twist in the tale which otherwise would have been so much predictable scenario on Smackdown.
To take it forward to the next level, Orton is rumoured to make appearances on Raw, as well to indicate that he might go after the Universal Championship. Daniel Bryan has already announced a number one contender's battle royal will take place.
