WWE Rumour: Brock Lesnar to be the Universal champion at Wrestlemania

It was earlier stated that the next match between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar would be contested in a championship capacity and Lesnar is supposed to emerge victorious after a full-fledged battle.

Bengaluru, Feb 16: As per the earlier reports, Vince McMahon saw money in each appearance of Goldberg and hence he wanted him to stick around as long as possible.

This is why he intends to give him another main event spotlight and this time at the grandest show of them all.

We have stated earlier that the next match between Goldberg and Lesnar would be contested in a championship capacity.

However, this time Lesnar is supposed to emerge victorious after a full-fledged battle. Earlier, during Survivor Series and Royal Rumble, the segments between these two were shorter than expected.

Both the time, Goldberg was standing tall reigning supreme on the beast. It looks like the conqueror will seek his ultimate redemption at the grandest stage of them all.

In a recent advertisement from Inside the Ropes promotion, Goldberg has been announced to join them for a United Kingdom Tour in the month of June.

This certainly indicates the fact that he will not be involved in any sort of WWE activities post-Wrestlemania season since WWE does not allow any superstar under their contract to join other promotion even if it's one-off stint.

The Myth will be present on the tour not for performing inside the ring but to have some interaction with the fans on three separate dates starting from June 26th, 2017.

He will be present in Glasgow, Scotland on June 26th, Manchester, England on June 27th and London, England on July 2nd.

It is pretty clear with his schedule that he is not likely performing in WWE once Wrestlemania gets over and not likely to come back until Summerslam season starts to pick up.

Hence, it will be Brock Lesnar who will be holding the prime championship present on Raw during the summer.

It will be the second time that Lesnar will be picking up the title after returning to the WWE in 2012. He won the WWE championship back in 2014 to lose it at Wrestlemania 31 after Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on that night.
