WWE Rumour: Baron Corbin to win the Intercontinental Title at Wrestlemania

Baron Corbin to face Dean Ambrose for Intercontinental Championship at Wrestlemania and win the title.

By Raja

Bengaluru, Feb 19: Baron Corbin is the one who has seen a tremendous push in the recent times. It was evident for a big man like him since the moment he was drafted to Smackdown Live.

The creative booked him properly to make him one of the dangerous men on the roster and as per the latest reports, the uprise will continue for him.

No-DQ.com stated that the Lone Wolf will be constantly getting push through the entire Wrestlemania season.

This will ensure his proper usage once the biggest event is over and the big names might go to a hiatus.

So, a big Intercontinental Championship match against Dean Ambrose is waiting for him to take place in Orlando, Florida.

The seeds of the feud were planted during the Elimination Chamber match after Ambrose was the one to pin him in the match with a school boy roll up.

Corbin was irate about the fact and decimated the Lunatic Fringe by smashing him into the chamber pod. He followed it with an End of Days which led to Ambrose's immediate elimination from the match.

Corbin was not done there and continued his assault even on this past week's Smackdown Live. He was scheduled for a match with Ambrose but that match never took place after he attacked him in the backstage area.

He delivered a brutal beatdown to send Ambrose to the local medical facility and thereby started his next rivalry, officially.

If a report of Wrestling Observer Newsletter is to be believed then these two will be locking horns for the Intercontinental championship, soon.

Both of them were directionless on the blue brand for quite sometimes and a singles contest is most likely to take place at Wrestlemania.

It is also likely that a stipulation like No Disqualification, Falls Count Anywhere or Street Fight might be added to the match, as well.

The source further stated the planning with Corbin is “a stepping stone to be moved up to the top of the card for the Smackdown brand" which means he is the favorite to win the IC title on that night.
