AJ Styles became the first one who simultaneously held WWE, NJPW, ROH and TNA championships. Nobody in the pro-wrestling has been able to do this in the past.

Bengaluru, Nov 20: AJ Styles made history the day he won the WWE World championship. It was the first ever PPV on behalf of the Smackdown brand when he was able to defeat the former champion, Dean Ambrose and take away the most coveted prize in the sports entertainment industry.

The fans have been over with the Phenomenal One which made his title reign even more successful. Despite being the heel, he got backing from the fans which made him the “face that runs the place."

He has defended the title successfully at the No Mercy PPV in a triple threat match against Ambrose and John Cena.

So, at a time when he has already defeated the top two contenders on the roster, the question is when is he going to lose the title and against whom?

According to a report from 434.com, AJ Styles will be wearing the championship belt around his waist until the grandest stage of them all i.e. Wrestlemania. It was not clarified whether he will be retaining his title on that night or not.

This prediction is justified since rumours also claim that Styles will face John Cena at Wrestlemania where Cena will get his redemption on Styles, finally. He is still 0-2 in singles matches including a huge victory at this year's Summerslam.

Styles will be defending his title against Dean Ambrose in Tables, Ladders and Chairs match at the TLC PPV.

He is supposed to retain his title on that night to end the feud with Ambrose. We have no clues what will be next for him after that i.e. for the Royal Rumble PPV.

Previous rumours also said that Styles might take a turn to babyface in the near future. If that is the case then he might face Randy Orton for the title at the Royal Rumble PPV.

The Viper has adopted the heel character by joining the Wyatt family. As for Styles, he is the veteran and can maintain both his face or heel persona.
