As reported earlier, WWE is trying to present Shawn Michaels in certain capacities in the Royal Rumble PPV.
This will be the 30th installment of the WWE’s annual PPV and this year it will be hosted in San Antonio, Texas, the hometown of the heartbreak kid.
WWE is planning to shatter a previous record of attendance in the Alamodome and hence it is quite evident that they will try to go to any level to bring the best for the fans.
Several reports have already suggested the return of the legendary Shawn Michaels wrestle in a match.
Now, the current WWE World champion, AJ Styles has fuelled it further by posting an image on Twitter.
The image shows that he and Shawn standing face to face with Royal Rumble written under it. It is almost looking like a poster for the event.

We only wonder if the match turns out to be a reality since Michaels is still very much in shape of wrestling.
According to a report from F4Wonline.com, WWE has tried many times to bring back Michaels to wrestle for one last match but he is not willing to do so.
He is happy with his position as a trainer at the WWE performance center in Florida and unmoved with his decision.
WWE tried for the same during Wrestlemania 32 but failed to do that and he made only a guest appearance.
Styles though would love to work with the Hall of Famer in a match. He quoted, “I would love the opportunity to wrestle him. I’d love to learn from him, but who’s to say if that’s going to happen.”
The chances of the match are pretty much less except the fact that we can expect the unthinkable after that huge return of Goldberg in WWE.
If this one is not stored for Royal Rumble then Randy Orton is the probable opponent for Styles at Royal Rumble.
A report from 434.com suggested that after AJ is done with his rivalry against Ambrose, Orton will be the next contender for the WWE World title.
