Bengaluru, Nov 2: In the month of June, we received a shocking news from WWE when they decided to ban Roman Reigns for one month.
It was the day after the Money in the Bank PPV when WWE released the official statement stating that Reigns has violated the company's Wellness policy and hence got suspended for 30 days.
He was pinned clean by Dean Ambrose at the PPV. If that was not enough the next night he digested another clean loss at the hands of newly arrived Finn Balor. From then onwards he is out of the Universal title picture.
He is expected to remain in the mid-card level since he has just successfully defended the United States title at the Hell in a Cell PPV.
WWE was done pushing Roman Reigns as the franchise player for the Raw brand and hence they arranged a mid-card feud with Rusev and Reigns.
But, it is on a temporary basis since he will go to the upper-card once the Wrestlemania fever starts to catch up from the beginning of next year.
"z'I know the idea was to keep Roman Reigns out of the world title picture for a while. So, it's another way of getting the people to like him, and I guess feuding with Rusev is the one way because of the American going against the Russian. He's still their guy, but they know they can't pull the trigger right now."
WWE has arranged the feud between Reigns and Rusev keeping the USA vs. Bulgaria rivalry in mind. They expected the crowd will cheer this time for Reigns.
However, insane boos are still continuing with Reigns and we are in doubt if fans will like to see the Big Dog in the title picture, again.
