Bengaluru, Feb 7: It was an incredible scene at the Alamodome on January 29th after Randy Orton pulled off the shocker by winning his second Royal Rumble match.
Beating all the biggest names that were present at the battle royal, the Viper was the last one standing inside the ring. This added another feather to Randy’s hat in his 15-year illustrious career.
According to the recent reports from various sources, Vince McMahon was very high on the Viper who was working very hard ever since returning last summer.
He started to impress the boss ever since he took the beat down at the hands of Brock Lesnar during last year’s Summerslam.
It was at the main event of the second biggest PPV of the year 2016 when Brock Lesnar has beaten the hell out of Orton.
It was so bad that Orton was left in a pool of blood inside the ring. According to a then report from Givemesports.com, the veteran WWE superstar has not refused to job down to the beast incarnate.
The officials were happy with Orton’s commitment to WWE and this might be WWE’s return give to the trusted warrior of the company that the Viper is.
After the year 2009, it is the second time that WWE planned him to win the Rumble match to main event Wrestlemania. He has joined an elite list of superstars who won the prestigious match for multiple times.
With this victory, his Wrestlemania ticket is confirmed. The rumours suggest that he will be headlining the event with a match-up against Bray Wyatt.
The Eater of the World will win the WWE championship in due course, most probably at the Elimination Chamber.
On the other hand, if John Cena retains the title at the Chamber match then WWE might go with the used formula of Cena Vs Orton at the grandest stage of them all.
We might event get a triple threat WWE championship match featuring these three Smackdown-roster superstars.
