Kansas City, Sep 6: As expected, WWE Raw has converted to the Kevin Owens show and it started from right where we left off last week.

It seemed that Stephanie McMahon has sorted things out with her husband and hence she had no strong feelings for what he did last week.

She also arranged a championship coronation for the new champion, Kevin Owens. But, the General Manager, Mick Foley is not on the same page with him.

The main show kicked off from the Sprint Center Arena in Kansas City, MO with Mick and Stephanie standing inside the ring for the championship coronation.

Rollins interrupted by saying that if Owens is going to be the new face for the show then he will be the one to “burn it to the ground”. Stephanie got furious over his comments and fired him right there.

But, Mick Foley saved the day for Rollins by re-instating him and granting the championship match at the Clash of Champions PPV. Owens visibly seemed furious over the GM’s decision.

Foley did not stop there and make the main event of WWE Raw where Owens had to take on his nemesis Sami Zayn.

The new champion picked up the victory via a pop-up powerbomb. But, Roman Reigns came down the ramp to get Owens after being screwed last week at the hands of Triple H.

The GM interrupted again by announcing Reigns vs. Owens for next week’s show. Now the stipulation is if Reigns is able to win, then the championship match at Clash of Champions will be a triple threat match. Reigns then delivered a huge spear to Owens’ buddy Chris Jericho to finish off the night.

Sheamus picked up a victory to advance 3-0 in the best of seven series. The next match will take place on Wednesday from a live event at the O2 arena in London, England.

Also, we got some exciting news in the Divas division since Sasha Banks made her return and officially announced the championship rematch against Charlotte at Clash of Champions. Bayley picked up a victory against the champion to get inserted into the title picture, as well.

The New Day kept the momentum going in their favor by gaining the upper-hand again on Gallows and Anderson.

Rollins picked up the victory in a back-and-forth matchup with Chris Jericho. Bo Dallas, Nia Jax, and Braun Strowman won their respective matches against rookie competitors. Plus, Enzo and Cass started a new feud with the Shining stars on WWE Raw.
