WWE: Randy Orton reveals why he has joined the Wyatt family

Randy Orton considers Wyatt family as the most dominant group in WWE and he always wanted to be a part of the strongest group.

Bengaluru, Feb 10: JBL often used to say during the commentary that if WWE would have been a sculpture it would exactly be looked like Randy Orton.

It's true because after spending almost two decades in the WWE, he still is a regular performer in the company and featuring in the main event scenes.

During last year's summer, he decided to join the Wyatt family after being unable to defeat the Wyatt at the No Mercy PPV.

This made him the tag team champion during last year's TLC PPV. He followed it with a shocking Royal Rumble win, this year to cement his main event spot at this year's Wrestlemania.

Literally, joining the Wyatt family has marked the re-invention of the Viper, for sure. He recently spoke to ESPN when he was asked about what made a future Hall of Famer like him join the dysfunctional family in the WWE.

In reply, he said that he wanted to be part of the most dominant group of the WWE which in turn dragged him back into the spotlight. This is what he said regarding the matter:

"I'm a Wyatt because I wanted to be in the most dominating group in WWE currently, I'm not going to say the most dominating in history, because you always hear about the best group in history, the most dominating group in history, etc.

Everything is 'in history.' Screw that. Right now, we're the baddest guys in here. I'm doing what I've got to do, so to speak."

Working with the Wyatt family literally worked wonder for both Orton and Wyatt. The Eater of the World was waiting to be featured on the main event spotlight which has finally happened after getting aligned with the 12-time world champion.

Furthermore, he might get to main event Wrestlemania with Orton after becoming the WWE champion at the Elimination Chamber PPV.

The Apex Predator of the WWE previously hinted that the singles match between them will eventually happen and the chances are high to take place at the grandest stage of them all.
