WWE Planning for world title post No Mercy PPV

By Raja

California, Oct 7: We will get the next WWE PPV event, No Mercy on October 9th from WWE Smackdown Live in Sacremento, California.

The main event is all set for the night as the reigning champion AJ Styles is all set to defend his title against John Cena and Dean Ambrose in a triple threat match.

AJ Styles id likely to retain his title at the PPV event and the speculation is who is going to be his next opponent?

It was reported earlier that Dean Ambrose will take a short time off from in-ring competition since he will be filming his next project with the WWE Studios. He is not supposed to be back until next year's Royal Rumble PPV.

In addition to this, the franchise of the company will go on to a vacation, too. John Cena will not be back until this year's end since he too will be busy filming the second season of the American Grit on Fox television. So, both the top names from the blue brand will not be seen letting AJ run the place.

Since he will be the only major name left on the Smackdown roster it will be interesting to see who WWE comes up with to feud against AJ Styles after the No Mercy PPV.

Here the automatic choice is the Viper, Randy Orton who should be indulged in a title feud. The Phenomenal One has said on different occasions that he will like to work against Randy Orton, someday. So, he might be getting it in a few weeks from now.

Apart from that WWE might has in store some surprise in the name of Samoa Joe. Joe is teasing debut in the main roster for quite a sometimes now and finally, he can get a call to the blue brand.

Joe and Styles both had enriched history when they both used to work for the TNA promotion. They both were the top names back in the company which made them the superstars they are today.
