Bengaluru, Nov 18: Goldberg returned to a standing ovation from the WWE Universe in Denver, Colorado. He’s been getting a superhero kind of treatment since then. However, there has been one exception.

It happened in the episode that took place at the Target center in Minneapolis, Minnesota which is home to Brock Lesnar. Since Lesnar had his homecoming, the audience started chanting “Goldberg Sucks.”

The advocate general for the beast incarnate, Paul Heyman tried as much as he could to make the crowd cheer for Goldberg who is supposed to be the hero in this epic confrontation at Survivor Series but failed.

The audience was so much into cheering Brock Lesnar that Vince McMahon had to cut the segment short.

The segment led us to the question will the WWE universe continue cheering for Goldberg at Survivor Series, too? This was earlier reported that the last big PPV of the year will be held in Toronto, Canada where he has been booed, previously due to the fact that he ended Bret Hart’s career, there.

Goldberg himself appeared at the WWE veteran commentator Jim Ross’s podcast, the Ross report and said that he does not care if the people boo him.

“At the end of the day, I hope everybody has fun. And if I just so happen to get booed, then, I am surely not going to go out and end my life because of it. At the end of the day, it’s other people’s interpretation of your act at that moment, so if I get booed, then, I’ll take it out on Brock more so than I’m doing already. And I believe that that’s what we wanted to do to each other when we were booed the last time we met.”

The last time they met was at Wrestlemania 20 when the fans booed him because they knew that after it was done, they both are going to leave the WWE. So, Goldberg says that this time they will not repeat the same mistakes again.

“So just because I'm not up on my hitting the ropes skills, don't mean that I don't bring something to the table that will far exceed expectations as far as violence is concerned, so that's what we do, man.”
