Bengaluru, Aug 29: The Britain-born diva, Paige is one of the most technical wrestlers present in the WWE Women's division. She started from the WWE's developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) Later FCW became the NXT brand and Paige would go on to the brand to hold the inaugural NXT Women's championship.
After holding the championship for a long time she proceeded to debut into the main roster of WWE in 2014 and become the WWE Divas champion.
On her very first night, she toppled the then champion, AJ Lee and thereby becoming the youngest Divas champion in the history of the company at an age of just 21. She is also the only one to hold the NXT Women's championship and the WWE Divas championship at the same time.
In the same year, she would go on to carry the Divas division alongside AJ Lee becoming a two-time Divas champion. She even was an integral part of the Divas revolution in WWE, last year, too.
But, then all of a sudden she vanished from the main event picture once Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch came up to the main roster. She was a victim of a bad booking and had a horrible 2016, till date.
As per the previous reports, Paige is suffering from a legitimate concussion in her back portion that made her sidelined from in-ring competition. After that, WWE suspended her along with her boyfriend, Alberto Del Rio for 30 days for the company's Wellness Policy Violation.
A recent report from Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggests that her neck issue is similar to what a lot of wrestlers (nerve damage similar to Daniel Bryan) have had.
It is the same serious concussion that caused careers of Daniel Bryan, Edge, Stone Cold Steve Austin due to weakness in the right arm and thereby leading to forceful retirement.
So, the speculation is that Paige too may end up getting permanently hanging up her boots due to the injury. It's worthy to mention that Paige's mother has addressed on Twitter that she is healing from the injury. Hopefully, the Diva who has plenty more left to offer to the WWE and her fans can make a return defeating all the odds.
